These are my absolute favorite tees. I don't know how they can offer them here for so cheap, less than half of what I pay at American Apparel's site. I actually own about 40 of these--in every color and size. They wash and wear so well, many of mine are nearly 10 yrs old and still look fantastic. I actually took photos of me wearing a size small, medium, large and x-large (in order) to compare. The small and medium are the deep 'v''s and the large and x-large are the regular v-necks sold here. The 'black' is not truly black since it is a tri-blend--it is more a charcoal grey color.

I don't know material that well so I'm not 100% on how to describe it but it's soft and kind of drapes perfect on my body. It's very flattering even if your not thin thin. I wear a medium even when my weight is 130-155. I'm 5' 7"The quality is enough that I dress the shirt up or down. Can wear it with a blazer or to the gym, tucked or untucked. You can't roll up the sleeves though, material won't hold.Make sure when your selecting the color your still getting the tri blend material. I think WHITE is a different material-a little thicker. This is the same shirt that REDBUBBLE uses, that's how I found it, looked so good but wanted a plain tee so I googled it and found that amazon sells it.

LOVE this shirt! On a constant quest for casual, everyday, lightweight but not flimsy and easily ripped shirts. The shape is great, a bit full but not baggy or too masculine looking for females. Nice deep V but with full coverage still, and nice sleeves a little on the longer side for great coverage. The dark blue (Tri indigo) is a GORGEOUS, deep, saturated blue color with a nice slight vintage finish 'look' to it which makes it a little nicer than just a plain color. It is so soft and comfortable but still a substantial shirt (not one of those light light light fly away ones.)Grabbed this one for about $14 which is a steal, I think normal price is around $25. Will update this review after a few months of washing and wearing. Will be getting more in other colors for sure.

Definitely not authentic American Apparel, but still a good shirt.I have several of AA’s tri blend v shirts. I was excited to see these on amazon at 50% the cost.This shirt is stretchier, smoother, more fitted and slightly thicker. The cut of the V is the same.Bummed but not worth returning. I still prefer the original American Apparel authentic version.

The Good:As an athletic male, these are a very nice fitting shirt. They are not too tight and not too loose (225lbs, 6'1, large). They are slightly looser than your average large which is great for me as I'm in-between sizes. The material is soft and thin and stretchy.The Bad:These are no longer made in the USA. American Apparel was acquired by Gildan and this particular shirt is made in Honduras. I don't really take issue with this except for the fact that it is assumed they're made in the USA (as they once were). Lastly, the quality of the stitching is not the same nor is it close. Mine had not less than 6 hems with 1-2" of thread just hanging off. I've never seen a t-shirt so poorly trimmed... not even one from China. Who knows how long it'll last but I presume as long as a Gildan which may be long enough to wear it out anyhow.Overall I do like the shirt and if it holds together I can deal with the poor quality stitching as I really do like everything else about it.

i like the materials. it's the same quality. so that's good. But I feel the price should drop considering that this design is now manufactured overseas (since the company was bought out). the previous price point was to support it being made in America using US employment wage standards. Now that it's made overseas, they are made for significantly less. but hey, i like the shirt i got.
